A recent winner at Chester, Copper Knight won this in 2018 but was only fifth last year when ahead of both Count D'Orsay and Venturous. Dakota Gold had the measure of Just Frank and Makanah when scoring at York last month but the latter has since gone close again in a tough sprint at Musselburgh. Illusionist made a winning return at York and is preferred to both City Walk and Fernando Rah but a chance is taken on DIGITAL. The latter has been competing on Turf since landing a Class 2 sprint on the Tapeta at Southwell in February and has scope for further progress on this surface.
