        Verdict

        A hood was refitted to LIZZIE JEAN at Kempton last time and she returned the convincing winner of a novices race. There looks more to come now handicapping and she’s just preferred to Thundering. The latter has a similar chance to the selection having finished runner-up in maiden company at Doncaster while Liquid Metric also makes his handicap debut having placed at Catterick. Nottingham second Pons Aelius drops down in distance while Outsmart and The Churchill Lad are upped in distance.
