In depth

Verdict

Irreverent goes well on Tapeta and is preferred to stablemate Baronial Pride while Spiorad posted a much better effort on his first start after wind surgery when third over track and trip. Mabre went close in a lower grade here a week ago and Jewel Maker’s earlier success came in Class 6 company but URSA MINOR (NAP) returns to his winning distance. The Gosden colt placed over a longer trip at Wolverhampton on his return from a lay-off and handicap debut and has plenty of scope for further progress.
