In depth

Verdict

Wynter Wildes found 7f too sharp at Southwell after a better run over this trip at Lingfield. Bungle Boy has shown enough ability to win a maiden and was returning from a break and making his handicap debut when a good third here last month but THEWAYTOTHESTARS made a very encouraging debut over 7f at Southwell when staying on from the rear and looks best of those with experience so gets the nod. Decoding makes a belated racecourse debut for the Johnstons and is a half-sister to a Listed winner while Bruno's Gold is a half-brother to a 7f winner.
