Hiccups is given a confident vote in a race that lacks any real strength in depth. Lynda Ramsden's gelding has shown promise in both his starts so far and a repeat of either could well be good enough. Wisdom Penang is from a good stable but refused to race on her debut. Stavros has bits of form that certainly give him place claims, but the main danger to the selection could lie in Kew The Music, who showed plenty of promise at Salisbury last time. Blackpool Beau showed plenty of promise at two but ran a stinker on the AW back in November. A return to turf might well make him more competitive, especially as the Ryan stable is in good form.
