An open-looking handicap can go the way of Amwaal ahead of Cross The Line and Shot To Fame. The selection appreciated the drop back into maiden company when scoring over a mile at Pontefract and with his high draw often seen as advantageous over this mile trip, he could be hard to beat if fit enough after his winter break. Shot To Fame was a good third when last seen in the Spring Mile here a fortnight ago and although he is winless since landing a Group Three contest at Ascot back in 2004, he retains plenty of ability and shouldn't be underestimated. Breaking Shadow is pretty consistent so has place claims at a big price, as does Quai Du Roi. Cross The Line has been in consistently good form on the all-weather this winter and will be hoping to translate that form to the turf. If he does he could be a very live danger. Little Jimbob cannot be ruled out either, however for the winner we will return to Amwaal.
