    Verdict

SPINWHEEL got off the mark over track and trip on last month’s handicap debut. She’s the least exposed of these and should make another bold bid with further progress on the cards. Palenville is usually in the mix without winning and it was the same old story when runner-up over 6f here last time but The Yellow Bus won a maiden for David Wachman over 7f at Down Royal last summer, though debuts for new connections on her reappearance. Barwah landed a lower grade race here recently and Langham was not beaten far on her first start since August when fourth at Wolverhampton.
