Diamond Mick might be the percentage call against Tsaroxy and That's Racing. This is little better than plating class and while one accepts that Diamond Mick is a horse with serious attitude problems, if he can be humoured into cooperating with his rider, he has more than enough ability to make himself count at this lowly grade. Tsaroxy was a horse with ambitions on the level but they have not come to fruition over hurdles. Unsold at Doncaster when the Wylie's tried to offload him, he looks to have lost the plot these days. That's Racing has some fair placed efforts over further. He is much more consistent than most in this contest. Tracer has been well beaten over hurdles and still searches for a maiden success over either code. Silver Steel hasn't shown a great deal thus far and is reluctantly passed over. Nortonthorpe Lad might run a fair race at big odds if able to reproduce some of his bumper efforts but that is a big "if". A race that won't live too long in the memory and Diamond Mick is selected with the most minimal of confidence.
