Verdict

Manadam won on his reappearance at Ffos Las before finding better company too strong off his new mark at Fontwell. He's back in the right grade here while King Benny won at Newton Abbot in the summer and found only Arisea too strong at Carlisle last time. Solway Silver had Dickie Henderhoop and subsequent Stratford third Sleep In First behind when scoring at Kelso but was a long way behind SAM PATCH and Mrs Eff over 2m6f here in March. Donald Whillans' charge hasn't run for a while but track, trip and going are in his favour today and it may be worth taking a chance on his fitness in another low-grade contest.
