        Verdict

        Canagat came up short over a mile on his handicap bow having completed a double over 7f earlier. Yoshimi has a shout on last year’s placed efforts but so does RICH BELIEF, narrowly beaten in a higher grade handicap over track and trip in September and racing off a similar mark today. Gobi Sunset is another with something to prove over this far while Cipango and Guipure were both beaten over 1m2f last time with the latter preferred back over today’s trip. War Defender may improve now handicapping and looks best of the rest.
