      Verdict

      GABRIAL’S STAR has won three times at Southwell since November, including over today’s trip. He also scored off a higher mark at Wolverhampton last year so should make a bold bid in his current form despite the 6lb extra. Artful Rogue has won over 1m4f but has an absence to overcome while Mr Snoozy and The Resdev Way have both been hurdling with the former preferred having won three times over timber last year. Belle De Lawers continues to slide down the weights and showed a bit more over a shorter trip here last month.
