Mimisel has obvious claims and should finally break her duck at the expense of newcomers Mosquera's Rock and Final Curtain. Mimisel has been confined to six furlongs on each of her four starts to date, and has been placed on three of them, most recently at Haydock 18 days ago when she was sent off as favourite. Being a daughter of Selkirk, she should relish this first attempt on easier going, and will also appreciate the step up in trip on breeding, so it will be a disappointment if she fails to come good, with none of the other exposed animals having shown much to date. Mosquera's Rock cost 80,000 euros and as the name suggests is a daughter of Rock Of Gibraltar, so should have some ability at least, and Final Curtain will be seen to better effect when stepped up to a mile. Mimisel will be a short price but is hard to avoid.
