Verdict

Rated 82, Mainsail Atlantic should be winning at this level but failed to land the odds in novice company at Nottingham on his penultimate start. With that in mind, KINGDOM BRUNEL may well find the improvement necessary to open his account with a debut third at Thirsk under his belt and David O’Meara’s colt gets the nod. The remainder with experience make no appeal but the 350,000gns purchase Canvassed and Ring Dancer, a half-brother to a Group 1 winner, are both newcomers to keep an eye on.
