      Verdict

Trilemma is another from the conveyor belt of progressive stayers from Sir Mark Prescott's stable and is taken to follow up her recent win at Ripon, with Greenwich Meantime and Little Tobias the best of the rest. Trilemma had always shaped as though she needed two miles and duly got off the mark on her first attempt at this trip when scoring at Ripon last Tuesday, by three quarters of a length from the consistent Oops. A six pound penalty here seems unlikely to stop her from scoring a quick double. She is unlikely to go off at big odds, however, and those seeking some each way value could do worse than Greenwich Meantime. Although Lynda Ramsden's gelding is not the most consistent of horses, he is extremely well treated on his best form, and is racing off a mark 17 pounds lower than when third at Carlisle in June. Andy Turnell's Little Tobias wins his share of race sand got his head in front at Carlisle last time but may find this a bit tougher and Trilemma should be hard to beat.
