TOBY TYLER deserves a change of fortune and, given the way the form of his latest start is working out, the gelding may have been found a good opportunity to score today; Seldom and Imperial Djay are respected as live dangers, while Rosko is a previous course winner that can also be considered for a place in the frame if the top weight is primed and ready for this reappearance. Imperial Djay has shot up the ratings - recording 3 wins from his last 6 starts. Recent evidence suggests he may have to settle for a minor role today, though. On face value, it can be argued that Seldom may be better suited to an artificial surface. However, it's also noteworthy that his solitary win came on turf, so he is no forlorn hope despite not appearing to be too well handicapped. Sairaam was just behind the selection when they met at Doncaster so has claims on that effort. However, he lacks consistency, while Toby Tyler has thrived on being kept busy and, as perseverance is the name of the game; this appears to be a good time to side with Paul Midgley's charge.
