Silver Sedge can take centre stage in this heat with Oso Magic and Super Baby playing the supporting roles. The selection has a longstanding love affair with this track and has tasted success four times in eleven starts, finishing second on another four occasions. The latest of those came over course and distance last month when he found only the useful Rayshan too strong. True, he's never won from a mark this high but he looks more than capable of doing so. King Of Confusion has failed to live up to initial expectations and has work to do to redeem his reputation. Ross Comm can go well fresh but has a little to prove on his return to action and stablemate Oso Magic could prove a bigger threat despite being well held the last twice. Super Baby is unexposed as a chaser and may well be able to take higher order in due course but he'll do well to deny Silver Sedge today.
