Verdict

FREDERICKBARBAROSA was no match for stablemate Azano when runner-up at Yarmouth last time but that form looks stronger in hindsight given the latter went on to finish second in a Group 3 contest. John Gosden’s colt gets the vote on his handicap debut. Diva D has won a handicap at Wolverhampton but is 5lb higher while Zip failed to figure in testing going at Haydock on his handicap bow but hails from last year’s winning yard and better is expected today. My Boy Lewis has been thereabouts over 6f recently and is another to consider returning to today’s longer trip.
