    Verdict

Tigre du Terre has been disappointing since making an eye-catching debut at Ascot last July, including on his reappearance at Kempton. Rastrelli couldn’t cope with Listed company at Newmarket in October but won handicaps earlier at HQ and also Brighton, though carries a penalty. Bartholomeu Dias was fourth in the Chesham Stakes last June and easily landed the odds on his return to action at Wolverhampton. He should continue to progress but Bon Scotte was well beaten over a mile here in the autumn and Blazing Tunder only scrambled home at Nottingham in October, though has scope. BOMBYX has a bit to find with a couple of these but he was quite impressive on easy going at Leicester on his second start following a nice debut at Newmarket and could pick up a decent prize or two this year.
