A good pace looks assured in this competitive heat which includes several in-form fillies, and the progressive Colourful Lady is just preferred to In A Silent Way and Tawny Way. Peter Harris' filly ran well well at Brighton last time and this more galloping track should suit. She is unexposed at this trip and may have caught a tartar in Croix De Guerre, so she is entitled to go close off the same mark here. In A Silent Way is a genuine and in-form filly who has a three pound rise for her recent win in a good race at Kempton. That looks less than harsh and this extra furlong should not pose a problem. Tawny Way improved to land a nine furlong handicap at Kempton last time. Willie Jarvis' filly is lightly raced and open to improvement, and the booking of Darryll Holland is a positive sign. In a tricky race, Island Rapture has every chance of reaching the frame again, but we just side with Colourful Lady to go one better than her latest run.
