Verdict
FOX POWER was a well-backed favourite at Goodwood earlier this month but was slow leaving the stalls and ran green before the penny dropped in the closing stages. Entered in a couple of valuable sales races in the autumn, he’ll have learned plenty from that debut and has nothing to fear from Korcho on the form book. Cloak And Dagger made his debut in a hot novice event at Goodwood in June and was then only beaten half-a-length at Haydock. He steps up a furlong here but should be winning soon. Cap Francais is a fascinating newcomer being a son of Frankel and a half-brother to two winners. His yard won a division of this in 2016, though he may need a bit further. Athmad and Global Quality are other debutants worth a second look.
