This race has been won by some redoubtable stayers in the past and it will be interesting to see how Testudo gets on as Brian Meehan's colt holds an entry for the St Leger at Doncaster next month. Aiken was a progressive individual before his absence and it wouldn't be the biggest of surprises were John Gosden to have him ready first time out but we'll err on the side of caution and stick with LOST IN THE MOMENT. The six-year-old accounted for I'm Your Man when they met in the Fred Archer Stakes, and if anything, today's step up in trip should suit. Royal Empire is a player if managing to stay the extra distance while Red Cadeaux is sure to run his race despite the 6lb penalty he accrues for his victory in the Hong Kong Vase.
