War Leader has struggled from his raised mark after completing a double at Chelmsford. Camelot Tales was tried over 1m4f at Ascot after winning over this trip at Ayr but pulled too hard. Arctic Vega's two victories have been on the all-weather while Gold Arch has gained all four successes on artificial surfaces. TAWAAREQ (NAP) had been racing in better company since last season's Doncaster maiden success before dropping into this class at Nottingham where he found the prolific Miramichi too strong in the closing stages. He can get back on the winning trail though Bill Peyto is much better than he showed at Goodwood where he finished a long way last.
