Sir Michael Stoute has his string firing again and Front Stage can boost the coffers a little as the Newmarket handler builds up to launch a raid on the prize-money available at York next week. Etlaala, who has plenty of big-race entries, and the well-bred Pillars Of Wisdom - a half-brother to several winners - make the most appeal out of the rest of the newcomers. Whereas Peter Chapple-Hyam would like nothing more than to post a timely reminder of his talents as a trainer at Newbury and Storm Fury could be the one to pose the biggest threat out of those with previous experience. However, Stoute has a habit of producing a number of useful individuals at this stage of the season and, even though Front Stage is unlikely to be his main hope for next year's Vodafone Derby, he is expected to know what is required of him at the first time of asking and do his bit for the Stoute bandwagon as it rolls on towards some bigger prizes.
