Several hold chances in the finale but a slender vote of confidence is given to House Martin, who is open to a fair bit of improvement and can get the better of Roman Villa and Top The Charts on these terms. Active Asset is also worth a mention, as he is typical of one of Mick Channon's string in that he is thriving on being kept busy. He can surly pay his way again before too long. The son of Sinndar is one to keep tabs on in the betting. Top The Charts ran a fair race at Haydock earlier in the month and looks an honest enough type to go close again. However, he does not look particularly well handicapped at the moment and others may have his measure when push comes to shove. Roman Villa is open to far more improvement than his stablemate La Belle Grande and is going the right way. However, he was a major disappointment when he tried this trip for the first time and comes here with a little to prove. Therefore, it can pay to side with House Martin, who has impressed with her attitude since he has been upped in distance. She holds valuable experience of the course and distance and, with Jamie Spencer set to do the steering again, this daughter of Spectrum has plenty in her favour this afternoon.
