Turban Heights and Force Group make most appeal with the top-weight preferred but there are some interesting runners such as Serious Choice lurking further down the weights. The booking of one of the challengers for the apprentice title takes the eye, particularly given that he is a rare booking for the yard. The filly has only had five career starts and may just have needed her two runs this season following some time on the sidelines. She's related to a host of winners at around this trip and the limited evidence available suggests that she's more than capable of adding her name to the roster; this represents a decent opportunity to do so. Force Group is feared most as his recent run at this track over a furlong further came in a better quality race than this and he was far from disgraced. This shorter trip is very much in his favour and he is on an upward curve. Nawamees and Olimpo both warrant attention whilst David Probert had been asked to ride both Chicken George and Outlandish which ensures that they are worth a second look too. However, the final place on our short-list goes to Serious Choice who returned to form at Nottingham last time over ten furlongs. He's open to further improvement and has plenty of stamina on the dam's side of his pedigree. As far as the winner is concerned though, we prefer the claims of TURBAN HEIGHTS.
