The consistent Isabella Liberty held an engagement in a similar race at Downpatrick yesterday so that result should be monitored. Her stable companion Hard To Call looked a certain future winner when runner-up at Roscommon on his chasing debut but that was on very fast ground and he ran moderately in softer conditions at Kilbeggan last time when behind CHITU. The latter had won over hurdles there earlier and with that experience under his belt can get off the mark over the bigger obstacles. Phil's Magic has some decent form to his credit against slightly better opposition though looks vulnerable after eight starts over fences. State Of Origin didn't run well on his only start over fences in April but then beat a big field over hurdles at Cork and is definitely on the shortlist.
