Master Bond did well to get within a head of the much higher rated Rivellini at Dundalk on Friday and is on a mark he should be capable of winning from soon. Jonny Levins has booked Donagh O'Connor to reduce the huge weight of Palavicini Run, who has had a break since scoring at Dundalk in February. Pillar has been in very good form at Dundalk and is rarely beaten far but a career strike-rate of 0-23 tells a story. Mo Henry bounced back to form with a good run at Dundalk though was getting plenty of weight from the winner while Calm Bay, who won from a higher mark here last summer and would have a definite chance on that form, usually needs his reappearance. CATWILLDO, who has won here in the past and was in good form throughout last summer, ran a very good race at Dundalk a couple of weeks ago and though behind Mo Henry is better on Turf and is taken to come out on top in a very trappy handicap.
