Peaks Of Fire, runner-up to Silas Mariner at Cork last month, didn't make the expected progress when starting joint-favourite with today's rival APACHE DRUMS in the race won by Toner D'Oudaries at Down Royal and there's no reason why he should reverse the form with Charles O'Brien's charge, who looks the best of those with experience. Caracol was beaten a long way in that race and looks held but the interesting one here is Narima, who showed promise on the Flat in France. Royal Scout ran well on his only start on the level last year and it would be no surprise to see a big performance in a race that won't take much winning. Virgil Earp represents Noel Meade and that will be enough to attract support though he's shown nothing yet.
