Verdict
Fresh Focus clearly needed the experience when last of six behind The Great War at the Curragh but wasn't beaten far and will be a different proposition this time. Blackbriar was also behind that winner at Tipperary but may not have the scope of Jim Bolger's colt though neither may be able to cope with ARANER. Dermot Weld's colt did little wrong on his introduction behind Rapid Approach and The Warrior at Cork and with progress virtually guaranteed he looks the one to beat. Royal County Boy has plenty of winning relatives but mostly over further.
