Verdict

PONT DU GARD has been very lightly raced since joining Joseph O'Brien from France. He clearly has had issues but his two strong runner-up efforts read well in the context of this contest and he's almost certain to come on a bundle after a respectable comeback run last time after a 333-day absence. Jack In The Box has shown definite promise on both starts for Gordon Elliot and rates a threat with the slight drop in trip and better ground expected to suit. Patsy's Honour scored pretty snugly in a Down Royal bumper and commands respect on this hurdling bow with Corbeau, Broken Bond and Lucky Tenner also worth a second look.
