Verhoyen has been very frustrating having been beaten at short odds three times before a mid-field effort in the lucrative Super Auction Sale's race at the Curragh. He may have to wait for a nursery to get off the mark as there are a couple of unexposed types who can improve past him. Hawaam has run twice here and not been beaten far in either on much quicker ground than he'll face here. He's expected to make further progress and should reach the frame though AURORA ECLIPSE will be difficult to beat. Michael O'Callaghan's filly made her debut over 6f at Fairyhouse in July where she led for most of the way until headed close home by subsequent winner Blue Uluru - this trip will suit and she can go one better. New Vocation was totally unfancied on her Cork debut and never showed but she'll have come on for the experience as will Lorente for her run at Listowel last month, where she was well supported. Ger Lyons has had a fine season with his youngsters and the speedily-bred It's All A Joke is one to note in the market.
