Verdict
CHRISTMAS LIGHT is a rare winner but looks up to landing this off his current mark having gone within a short-head of victory at Beverley last week behind Lockantanks. Heavy ground may have been an excuse for Raheeba's recent poor effort at Doncaster but her earlier form entitles her to consideration while Ayr runner-up Barton Bounty makes more appeal than Lean On Pete as the latter produced his best couple of runs at Wolverhampton. Military Call ran well on his reappearance at this track and could be thereabouts at the finish.
