Verdict

Johnson's Point, a good second off this mark at Beverley last week, is taken to improve for the step up in trip. Gargoyle Girl, the winner of a seller here last month, stepped up on that effort when just denied at Caterrick. She stays well and appears to be on the upgrade. On a line through Academy, Toni Alcala has a little to find with Gargoyle Girl, but that was his first effort over this sort of trip and may be open to some improvement.
