Not a race that will live too long in the memory and Lady Fantasie is selected in preference to Faraway Sound. The selection isn't the greatest filly to have ever raced here but she is fairly honest and does have a degree of early pace. The concession of weight from the remainder gives her some degree of interest in a moderate affair. Faraway Sound is unquestionably the best horse in the race. His latest run at Carlisle was a real stinker given that he had been backed heavily beforehand and it is of obvious concern that connections have gone straight for a downgrade. Chicken Momo was the subject of strong support ahead of a Catterick maiden but the bookies were always going to keep the money in their satchels. Moomoo is related to sprint winners although she hails from a yard that are not especially noted for juvenile winners. Connections won't be too bothered if someone sticks their hand up in the subsequent auction and it looks to be Lady Fantasie that will be the most likely to be strolling around the parade ring post race.
