Course and distance winner The Thin Blue Line is a useful sort at this level but all bar one of his career successes have been on all-weather surfaces. He is useful on grass though and that sole Turf success was delivered over course and distance, so a competitive run is anticipated. He holds PRIMO'S COMET on their running earlier in the season but the latter has found his form of late and only succumbed in photo finishes the last twice. He enjoys a good course record and is just preferred. Firebomb is hard to assess taking on his elders but is not discounted, whilst admirable veteran Duke Of Firenze continues to descend the handicap and Tanasoq is not ruled out although he's sure to be held up as late as possible and needs everything to drop just right.
