This is not a huge amount better than the Thirsk seller won by Chosen One, who can again go very well, though the vote goes to FASLIYANNE, with Wicked Wilma very much respected. The Kevin Ryan-trained pick has, admittedly, a strike rate of just one from 27, but she goes well on a sound or fast surface and over this minimum trip, while the handicapper has been giving her a chance in recent outings. It might just be her turn today. Chosen One was winning over 6f at Thirsk, a trip over which all three of his career successes have come. A 7lb rise for that plus the drop in trip means that he will do well to follow-up. Course and distance winners Angelofthenorth and Barraland would be very competitive if able to return to anything like their best, although Wicked Wilma looks much more likely to produce her running from a mark 4lbs higher than her win here last September. She is feared, but Fasliyanne makes just about the most appeal.
