      Verdict

      SEASONY was well supported to make a successful debut at Chelmsford and, though only winning narrowly, appeared to have plenty in hand. He has a penalty and the surface to overcome but looks a nice prospect. Le Chiffre put a moderate debut on this track behind him with a much-improved run at Thirsk so has to be a threat along with Hua Mulan, who made a promising start on good to soft ground here last month. Alix James showed he acts on soft ground with a fair run in a Chester nursery so looks best of the remainder.
