        Blue Baton started favourite for a similar race here last month and finished third, though shaped as though she’d need further. PERFECT MYTH had a subsequent winner and today’s rival Chouquette behind when just failing to match the finishing speed of Kuragina over 1m4f at Wetherby. The step up to 2m isn’t certain to suit Harry Whittington’s Midnight Legend filly on breeding but she looks the one to beat getting 7lb from Sedgefield scorer Eternally Yours.
