Frame Rate was second over course and distance in November but a fall at Catterick a few weeks later seemed to affect his confidence as he was pulled up last time after making mistakes in a race in which Elysian Prince finished tailed off. Urban Kode has been running well enough without really looking like winning and Life Knowledge has placed the last twice but it’s a long time since Captain Brown showed any worthwhile form. WOT A SHOT won here last season when 5lb higher and a couple of runs at the end of last year should have blown away any cobwebs. Good ground suits Nicky Richards’ 10-year-old, who gets the nod.
