In depth

Verdict

Daddy Long Legs has never come anywhere near the form shown when landing the UAE Derby in 2012 though he has been racing in better class than this. He was a couple of lengths behind Plantagenet here in March and the latter would have a chance if repeating that sort of form. Layali Al Andalus was behind the pair of them on that occasion while Windhoek was beaten in a Beverley handicap in August and has never fulfilled the promise shown when he completed a hat-trick in his first three starts. Banoffee may be better over further but MANALAPAN ran two cracking races at Dundalk in October so in the hope he'll be suited by this surface is given the nod. Zip Top hasn't been seen since runner-up to Camelot in the 2011 Racing Post Trophy, which turned out to be a poor race.
