COSMO CHARLIE won a Listed contest here in March and reappeared to beat two stable companions in great style a month ago. He's only three and has had just six runs so there should be enough improvement to gain another victory. Heavy Metal has a 5lb higher rating but has to concede 4lb. The former Mark Johnston inmate would be the selection based on his Group 3 victory in March but he hasn't run since that month and the selection should have the edge in race fitness. Daily Bulletin won twice on the all-weather for John Gosden and went to Jebel Ali last month for a very impressive victory. He'll need to make further progress but looks capable of doing so. Wild Dude is 8-30 on the all-weather, mostly on Dirt. He was behind the selection last time but was noted staying on and can get closer.
