A chance is taken on DEEM, who is a very useful filly on her day and beat Aspectoflove in last year's Grade 3 Balllanchine. She looked badly in need of the run when behind that same filly here last month and that should have brought her to the boil for this. Last year's shock Dubai Duty Free winner Al Shemali made a highly commendable return to action behind the brilliant Bold Silvano a fortnight ago and looks certain to go well though the aim is to retain his trophy and he could just need another run. Mike De Kock has a pair of live contenders in Golden Sword and Mr Brock with preference for the latter, who was surprisingly caught by Bronze Cannon over the C&D last month but is 6lb better off and likely to turn the tables. The overall form of Wealthy leaves him with a little to find but he will certainly improve for his run behind Bronze Cannon.
