NORTH WALK is the form horse in this seller and is taken to score ahead of Speed Up and Top Man Dan. The selection won a similar race at Ludlow last month and followed up by finishing third at Fontwell on his last outing over hurdles. He was well beaten on the level on his latest start but his hurdles form is the best on offer in what is a poor contest and if at his best he is sure to go close with the help of Tony McCoy on his back. Speed Up drops in grade for the first time having run well in a few novice hurdles this spring. His best effort to date was finishing third of 10 at Musselburgh in March and although he has been fairly beaten in his last couple of races he was by no means disgraced and at this level he has to be respected. Top Man Dan has only raced once over hurdles finishing fifth of 10 in the process at Sedgefield last September. He has since struggled on the flat but he's sure to have benefitted from his sole hurdle start so any market moves should be noted. North Walk has proven winning form in this grade and for that reason is the preferred pick.
