Verdict
Inheritance Thief couldn't get to Dandy Dan at Ludlow in May but it was a good effort and he should build on that. Shall We Go started a short-priced favourite at Worcester last month but weakened quickly in the closing stages after showing up well for most of the race. Tankerton Boy also faded inside the final furlong on his debut here in May and will need to do better but Lygon Rock, who was temperamental before the start at Warwick in March, may be capable of better. Malcolm Jefferson has an excellent strike-rate in this sphere and NORTHERN SOUL, who is out of a mare who has produced several winners for the yard, could be another so gets the vote.
