Verdict

A wide open bumper rounds off the card and as usual in these events the market will be all important but the principals look to be Tuppance A Bag Spit and Mem O'Rees and the narrow vote is given to Tuppance A Bag. The selection won well last time out when beating Won More Night and although having a penalty he is sure to improve and looks the one to be on. Spit rates a danger as he hails from a predominantly flat yard and this Flemensfirth gelding out of a lightly-raced mare should be monitored in the market. Mem O'Rees is another worthy of respect on his latest fourth behind Arctic Magic but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time. Of the remainder Breaking Storm and Ambrosinni are other last time out winners with place claims but they will do well to give weight and a beating to some less exposed rivals and with this in mind for the winner we return to Tuppance A Bag.
