Verdict
Not much form to go on here so as always with these races a market check is advised but without it SHAZAYA looks like a winner while Alegralil looks the most interesting of the newcomers ahead of Mrs Trellis. Related to Triumph Hurdle winner Shawiya the pick has plenty of other success stories in the family and seems to have inherited a least some of that ability when running a strong debut. The filly stumbled about three furlongs out when in with every chance and ran on well to claim fifth that day and a repeat, without the mishap, should be enough. Alegralil is also well bred closely related to a chase and novice hurdle winner. The pedigree isn't as classy has the picks but he is entitled to run a strong debut. Shilpa is a little more flat bred than jumps and looked liked she regressed last time after a solid debut. Mrs Trellis has enough in her pedigree to suggest a strong challenge but as the also rans chase one paced into the place positions of eternity and the winner gallops into the winners enclosure of destiny we realise our selection is Shazaya.
