Despite one or two scares, CALL ME VIC won an amateur riders’ handicap at Sandown in December under Albi Tufnell and the old-timer should give another good account here. Garde Ville has won a match between the flags since winning over 2m4f here last month while a combination of Paul Nicholls and Will Biddick will ensure Favorito Buck's is well supported on his hunter chase debut. Dieu Vivant is a regular here and was a course and distance winner last season but may find a couple of these too good.
