A decent contest for the track and it's attracted a strong entry. Pilgrims Lane is 9lb higher than when successful 12 months ago and hasn't raced since December, though does appear to have the beating of Key Cutter on the form book. The latter is blinkered for the first time here, as are Fredo and FAIROAK LAD, but Philip Hobbs' nine-year-old looks to have a decent chance at the weights as he would have needed the outing when behind Drumbaloo over 3m here at the beginning of March. He gets a tentative vote though Five Star Wilsham and Round Tom would also have claims if back to their best and Pettifour is well treated on his hurdles form.
