Verdict
Victor Dartnall has started the season well and it may be worth taking a chance with the ex-Irish OSCARVAIL; Dabaratsa and Marsh Court are others with claims. The selection has a little to prove on debut for her new connections as she was beaten a long way into midfield on her hurdling bow at Kilbeggan in August. The experience is unlikely to have been lost on her though and there was plenty to like about her racecourse bow in a Bellewstown bumper which saw her chase home the useful Uncle Junior. Marsh Court battled on gamely to make a winning debut for her new connections at Fontwell but will need to pull out a little more in order to follow up under a penalty whilst Dabarasta should be popular following her Southwell second although it's worth noting that the third home has since been beaten in a seller. Miss Carroll's bumper form is only moderate but cannot be left out of calculations and nor can Speed Bonnie Boat who has showed a modicum of ability. Tootsie Too and Silivri rate mentions but we'll take a chance with Oscarvail. (Ian Ogg)
