In depth

Verdict

The progressive Kildee Lass is fancied to see off the challenges of Sweet Oona and Ma Furie and gain compensation for her near miss at Wincanton eighteen days ago. The unexposed Cream Cracker can also go well if she builds on her latest effort and she is one to bear in mind if each-way support arrives for her in the betting ring. Ma Furie was unlucky not to get off the mark in this country when she was outgunned at Hereford at the start of last month and is very capable of making this a true test. However, she is now 3lb higher and has it all to do from the top of the weights. Sweet Oona was a little keen in the early stages of her third start for Venetia Williams when she failed to get home at Leicester. She shapes as if there is a race within her but may need a little further to be seen at her best. Therefore, we stick with Kildee for the time being, as she is a versatile sort that has already granted Chris Honour several good performances when they have been paired off in the past.
